The NBA announced minutes ago that Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant have been named their respective conferences’ players of the week. Howard recorded four double-doubles as the Orlando Magic posted a 3-1 record. The center averaged 17.0 points and league highs of 17.8 rebounds and 4.5 blocks per game.
